Love seeing people see colours that the rest of us take for granted.

I can’t help my mother financially but am her caretaker. She’s an amazing and beautiful person. Recently lost my father, 9th of April, and was his caregiver as well. Will care for my mother till the end. Obviously I’ve helped them financially, saving their home and paying bills so they can live comfortably. The love and support they’ve given me throughout my life is priceless. Loving and caring for my mother is a privilege. 😊🙌🏼🤍💫🕊️✨

My mom became very ill when I was 19 and her hospital bills wrecked us. She could only afford to pay $25 a month. I went to community college for IT and bust my butt for two years while working 30 hours a week. I found a really good job about 6 months after graduating. At 25, with my third check, I paid off my mom’s hospital bill. It’s like it ended the saga for all of us.

This is unique for Westerners. In India, kids do this without batting an eyelid nor do we make a big deal about this. Moreover, in Bharat it is customary for the kids to take care of their parents and stay with them under one roof!!

In so many cases these days, technology is used because we can and not because we should. This is an example of technology being used in the right way, and actually doing a tremendous amount of good.

I wasn’t born deaf but after a accident I lost my hearing in one ear and 70% in the other I lived that way for over twenty years before I got my hearing implant and I know the feeling they are going through and I wasn’t fully deaf, I find myself turning mine off because the world is so loud I’m so glad the technology has come so far to help theses people with this gift ,

I don’t understand how they know the colours if they have never seen it before. Shouldn’t they have no idea what they are seeing after ? If they see everything in grey tones. They wouldn’t know what purple looks like to say purple…no🤷🏼‍♀️🤷🏼‍♀️

Sorry but I am confused. How do deaf people understand the language, when it's their first time hearing the language? Or do they have to learn it? Looking forward for an answer. Regards

Why wouldn't hearing speech for the first time be like us hearing the Chinese Language for the first time? How would you know what is being asked or what to say?

I wish I got this reaction from my mom. On any of my kids. All she said was I shouldn’t be and later told me I was to dumb to have kids. I was happy and she ruined it. I cut ties with her in 96 didn’t see her again till 2018 at my sisters funeral nothing after. Don’t ever let someone ruin your joy on this and no matter how much you try it doesn’t get better trust me

How do they understand English if they’ve never heard before?

Yeah, Humans are ok after all. Real joy comes with a trained dog/owner. Don't be among the 90% of dog owners who have untrained dogs..who don't come when called. Dogs are happier, live longer lives when they are trained.

I don’t know but I would bet that if these couples are at a doctors office getting these ultrasounds and the doctor sees there is 4 or 5 they are going to inform the couple that this is a high risk pregnancy but I just like everyone of these couples saw 4 or 5 on my wife’s ultrasound she like me has said what are they suppose to do because I bet none planned this but again what are the options because seems that these couples like me and my wife don’t believe in abortion. So it blows my mind how people can say they don’t understand the risk when I bet they do and also what choice would you suggest to them what would be their options abort the pregnancy. I would be thrilled just like everyone of the couples and the family members who will be there for them.
